Law firm clerk who stole €260,000 from employer facing appointment of Receiver over €150,000 pension pot
Gambling addict Garry Carroll, jailed for embezzling more than €260,000 from his employer, one of the biggest legal firms in Limerick, today faced a High Court application for the appointment of a Receiver over his €150,000 personal pension pot.
Barrister Stephen B. Byrne, counsel for Connolly Sellors Geraghty Solicitors, Carroll’s former employers, told the High Court Monday there was €278,567 still outstanding on a judgment against Carroll.
