Poland - Factors to Watch Sept 22

Following are news stories, press reports and events to watch that may affect Poland's financial markets on Friday. ALL TIMES GMT (Poland: GMT + 2 hours):

HUNGARY'S PM VISITS WARSAW

Hungary's Prime Minister Victor Orban is expected to meet on Friday fellow eurosceptic, right-wing Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydlo, ruling party leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski and other top Polish officials at a time when the two countries have strained relations with the European Union.

MONEY SUPPLY DATA

The central bank is expected to publish M3 money supply data for August at 1200 GMT.

UNEMPLOYMENT DATA

The statistics office is due to publish registered unemployment data for August at 0800 GMT.

FOREIGN FIRMS

The total revenues of EU companies in Poland amounted to 538 billion zlotys ($150.63 billion) in 2005-2015, Rzeczpospolita daily said quoting the finance ministry data.

BANKS

Ailing credit unions known as SKOK in Poland should not take advantage of the bank guarantee fund raised mostly by commercial banks, Gazeta Wyborcza daily quoted a Polish bank lobby as saying.

WARSAW STOCK EXCHANGE

Columbus Energy, a solar panel producer, will move from the alternative market NewConnect to Warsaw Stock Exchange in the first quarter of 2018, Parkiet daily quoted the company's CEO as saying.

GROWTH

The optimal economic growth for Poland is 3.5-4.5 percent per year, Polska The Times magazine quoted the head of state-run investment vehicle PFR as saying.
