Some of the meat has already been seized and so far there have been no reports of consumers developing salmonellosis. Dr. Kremena Stoeva from the Food Agency told the Bulgarian National Radio that Bulgaria had already received 16 notifications regarding the salmonella-infected meat from Poland, as she did not specify when the first alert from the European Rapid Response System was received.
