site.btaBulgarian Foreign Minister Georgiev to Participate in NATO Foreign Ministers Meeting

Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev will participate in the meeting of the foreign ministers of NATO member states in Brussels, the Foreign Ministry said on Thursday. The meeting is expected to discuss topical issues on NATO's agenda related to strengthening the alliance's deterrence and defence capabilities, continued comprehensive support to Ukraine and approaches to achieving a lasting and just peace. 

Ministerial discussions are planned on preparations for the forthcoming summit in The Hague in June and the fair distribution of responsibilities among allies, deepening cooperation with partners in the Indo-Pacific region, as well as the development of European defence and the European Union's initiatives in this field, the Foreign Ministry further said.
